Forgive me if this subject has been discussed:
Tonight I am playing tunes from a classic TJB Song Book and I come across Surfin Senorita
written by Herb and Jerry Moss. So the question is: What kind of musical backround does/did Jerry have? What instrument if any did he play? What other songs did he co write with Herb?

  2. He also is credited with "Tijuana Sauerkraut".

My guess is that he perhaps contributed an idea that Herb ran with, so Herb paid him back with a writing credit.

Or, maybe he came up with the song titles.

  4. In the following interview...

...at around 41:57, you'll hear Jerry Moss say "I'm not a musician." Based on that, I feel safe in assuming that he didn't play any instrument with any great degree of proficiency.
