Gap Mangione Ella y yo

We have several of Gap's LPS at the radio station including this one I enjoy every one of them and thankfully I needle dropped everything I recorded from the vinyl it's unfortunate he never got more recognition that he deserved "Love's theme on this one is a good stripped down "stringless" cover version

I own but one thing from Gap Mangione - it's a track on A&M FOREPLAY #18 called "Dancin' Is Making Love", a pretty good disco track.

I really enjoy listening to Gap's A&M output... I don't really care that some of it is "disco-ish" and some is "new-agey." It's often like listening to a brother Chuck album sans flugelhorn...

Their styles are very similar and they did play together so it seems they influenced each other in a way
