    Dave,

You need to have a place on the Internet (a hosting site) that you can load your pictures to. Once they are there, you can then use the

tags here on the Forum to place the URL of the picture you wish to display.

Many times, your Internet provider gives you space to host a limited website. Or you could try a site that allows you to upload pictures. There are a lot of free picture hosting sites out on the web. I've used Photobucket successfully.

Pictures should be in a compressed format like .jpg or .gif. Large .bmp files will use up space very quickly and will load more slowly on peoples' computers.

I think Flickr is one of those places that lets you host images for free--there are a few out there.

Thanks both Harry and Rudy for the info - I have never posted images on the Forum before - I thought it would be a simple case of copying and pasting!

photobucket.com is another one. I think a guy could just type "free picture hosting" into Google and get a ton of places to keep stuff. All for the price of looking at an ad or two! :)
