Problem sharing album covers

I was recently reviewing my post to the "Favorite Album Covers" thread, and I realized that I didn't share any cover art w/ the forum... Then I tried (to no avail) to pull up cover art from the web to edit my post. I know there's a way to display the cover because several others have done so, but I must be missing something! ARGH!!! Please help.

    Thanks,
    Tony

Your post looked like all text to me, so I'm not sure where your difficulties lie.

The proper format for displaying a picture (already on the web somewhere) is to use the [IMG] tags, the forum software will display the picture.

Technically, for good web etiquette, it's not a good idea to point to a picture that's not yours or on a site that's not yours. That uses other people's bandwidth. I suppose it's OK to use pictures from a commercial site that's promoting these albums, so I don't think there's a problem using Amazon's pictures since we're an amazon sales affiliate site.

Thanks. I knew it had to be something simple!

BTW, I was going to add a cover @ the end of my text. You'll know soon if I'm successful...
