Are the "Remastered Classics" the 1999 CDs with "Digitally Remastered" written in the gutter?

In different territories there were different phrases written in the "gutter". In the UK and Europe they said "DIGITALLY REMASTERED".

In the US, they were referred to as "R E M A S T E R E D * C L A S S I C S".
