RIP Leon Russell

The medley of "Jumpin' Jack Flash"/"Youngblood" (from 1971 "The Concert For Bangladesh") is my favorite. Matt Clark Sanford, MI

He did session work on more A&M albums than I can begin to count. One of his finest performances is a piano solo on the Flying Burrito Brothers' version of "Wild Horses" from BURRITO DELUXE (SP 4258). An early A&M single, "Misty" with "Cindy," was included on a highly collectable compilation, THE A&M BOOTLEG ALBUM, from 1971.

Another true Legend is Now gone Mr Russell was truly a multitalented artist songwriter. session ace. Etc. He will be forever remembered for his many contributions ( as well as his contributions to the many A&M Recordings he played on)
