Did you know that the late Tito Peunte had composed the song " Oye Coma Va" especially for Sergio Mendes & Brasil 66?But Sergio had turned down the song and eventually the song landed in Santana's hands at that time it became a huge hit for Santana.

That is an urban legend. Oye Como Va was written in 1963, years before Brasil '66.

Tito recorded it in 1963 on his album "El Rey: Bravo".
