Talkback was a reggae influenced band whose album possibly was not released. Their song "Rudy" was part of the 'Pretty in Pink' film sound track but was not included on the album. The band later changed its name to Headbone. It is still active and maintains a page on Facebook.

Personnel included Bruno Coon (lead vocals), G.T. Clinton, David Sutton and Rock Deadrick. Other song titles for this album are unknown thus far.

Bruno Coon has had a notable career in sound editing, with credits on 'Toy Story 2,' TS3 and 'Meet the Fockers.'

Another band signed to A&M then dropped before releasing their debut album was LA/San Diego-based "The Bonedaddys." They had one song featured on one A&M soundtrack album (a "teen film" but not Pretty in Pink -- still trying to track down which one it was). Bonedaddys are still performing and recording today. Their sound is self-described as "worldbeatnik" and is not unlike Talkbakck/Headbone or even Ozomatli (an ALMOSounds artist also still performing and recording).
