Discussion in '12-inch Singles/EPs/Remixes' started by Rudy, May 19, 2011.

  1. Rudy Spinning The Wheels Of Steel

This section of the A&M Corner Forum is specifically focused on the unique artists and recordings that A&M Records promoted as dance, R&B, funk, soul and other related genres. As this section will also specialize in 12-inch singles, the area will also include numerous selections from other artists in the A&M catalog. So specifically, what will you find here?

    • Discussions about the unique 12" singles that A&M released, some quite common, and a few others rare. Other non-A&M 12" singles are fair game as well, especially for related artists.
    • Imported 12" singles and EPs which contained unique content not found in the U.S.
    • Information and discussions about the funk/R&B bands and artists who recorded on A&M such as the Brothers Johnson, Janet Jackson, Jesse Johnson's Revue, Bell & James, and others.
    • 12" singles and EPs from both A&M an its affiliated labels.

We will try to feature a new 12" single or EP every week, like we've done with our popular and long-running Album Of The Week (AOTW).

With all this in mind, welcome to the new Corner and enjoy!

Thanks for creating this area on the forum, Rood. I will be periodically adding threads to this section and can hopefully offer some insight and answer any questions that anyone might have about 12" single releases on A&M and their associated labels. :)
