ZANZIBAR Pais Tropical track on CD

Hi,Sergio Mendes followers,

Zanzibar track for the first time on CD!

All I want you to know is the fact that the Brasil‘77 Pais Tropical album track ZANZIBAR can be
found on a Far Out Release CD compilation entitled BRAZILICA.
Together with Brasils ‘77 Primal Roots track, After the sunrise
(previously released as a CD track on the Verve compilation RED Hot and Rio.

Unfortunately an expensive 37 dollars Japanese import CD with some other ‘70s tracks by the late Luis Eca, Dom Um Romao, João Donato, Elis Regina and others.

I wonder, will The Verve Music Group ever release the Pais Tropical album on CD?
It would be a pleasure to hear the wonderful Vinicius de Moares/Toquinho penned tracks TONGA and the Milton Nascimento composition MORRO VELHO in a digital format.

I've had that release for quite a while (several years). I ordered it just on the advice that it had Sergio Mendes on it...was quite pleasantly surprised to find that "Zanzibar" was one of the tracks.

I'm not sure if mine was on the Far Out label though...I don't think so. I'll check & update later. It was a budget comp though....I only paid about 12 dollars for it.
