When you see him, could you please ask Herb to kindly reissue, on CD, Wild Romance, Under a Spanish Moon and My Abstract Heart.I'm heading to Bakersfield in a few weeks to see Herb Alpert. I've never seen a show of his before, and I was wondering what to expect. How much TJB material does he include in the show, or is it just a quick medley?
I also see a few other albums too that are still fairly easy to find tooAll three of those albums are fairly easy to find from prior issues on CD back in the A&M days.
I also had that impression back in the mid 70s when I saw the tours for You Smile and Coney Island. And they closed both with "Zorba The Greek" which had the whole audience whoopin' and hollerin'.I recalled the back cover of the Whipped Cream album where it talks about the people who attend these shows... the teens, the squares, the little old ladies... yup, they were all there.
