I just bought Target exclusive Stevie Wonder 1’s. Double album beautiful red vinyl.

would love to see an album like this for Carpenters. They could use the picture of The duo where Karen is sitting in the orange dress and Richard standing beside her and have orange translucent vinyl.
Just a thought.

It might have to be an EP, as not that many Hot 100 #1's? Or does it include all countries, all the various charts?

Stevie Wonder’s uses R&B charts, Hot 100 and maybe AC.

The Carpenters have had a total of 20 individual singles reach the number 1 spot on some version of the charts worldwide. This includes "It's Going to Take Some Time" and "Goodbye to Love" reaching #1 on the Canadian AC charts, "Calling Occupants of Interplanetary Craft" reaching #1 in Ireland and "Merry Christmas Darling" reaching #1 on the Christmas charts. Their catalogue of chart toppers would easily qualify for a double LP of 1's. Even though the Carpenters popularity in Japan was immense, they never had a song chart higher than #5 which shows how difficult it has been for US artists to make an impact in that market historically.
