Tried to log on to the website, after re-reading all the wonderful tributes that were written about Julius. Since I don't have a password I decided it would be best to have you post for me instead.
"We've made a definite commitment to have the 2nd "Julius Wechter: A Celebration of his Life and Music" in New York on 3/3/03 at the Danny Kaye Theatre at Hunter College in the East 60's.
More details will follow, but wanted to give the fans a heads up and hope many can attend.
It will be basically the same show, but with almost all new singers, this time from the Broadway stage. Dave Frishberg has already promised to fly from Portland to participate. Herb Alpert will not be able to attend, but has said he will support us in other ways. He was a generous backer of the first concert and I'm sure he intends to be again.
I look forward to seeing many of you again and meeting some of you for the first time.
