XM Fans,

3 new channels make their debut on XM:

> Big Tracks – Later Classic Rock – XM 49 in the Rock Neighborhood (What everyone has been asking for) -- I'm listening to this one right now, it sounds great!

> XM Chill – Chill Music – XM 84 in the Dance Neighborhood

> WLW – News Talk – XM 173 in News/Talk Neighborhood

Still no "Classic A&M" channel, unfortunately.

I was thinking the other day that XM could use a classic fusion-jazz station, playing music from the late 60s through early or mid 80s. Stuff like electric Miles, Weather Report, Spyro Gyra, Ronnie Laws, Stanley Clarke, Lenny White, George Duke, David Sanborn, Herbie Hancock, Return To Forever, Jean-Luc Ponty, Al Jarreau, early GRP Records artists, etc., even some 80s Alpert solo tracks. Our local jazz station WJZZ used to play all of this music. Watercolors plays a song from this era every so often, but I don't care for most of the other music they play--too repetitive.
