A cameo appearance by Richard in "The Karen Carpenter Story"?

I was rewatching this TV movie the other day and during the portion of it recreating the recording of "This Masquerade" I think it's Richard shown playing some of the classic piano solo in that tune. Just his hands, of course, but still, that would be a great cameo!

Richard actually does appear in a scene in a studio. Look in the background:

He also appeared after the movie in a CBS "Read More About It" segment. I always liked those segments. I wish CBS still ran them and that other networks would. Something that spurs pursuit of knowledge is a good thing.
