In anticipation of relaunching parts of our tijuanabrass.com discography, we are starting a series of threads which feature each individual album by Herb Alpert. Everything from The Lonely Bull through Come Fly With Me will be featured. With these new remasters starting to become available (first as downloads, and early next year as CDs), this is the best time to begin featuring each individual album.
The first handful will feature albums that will be seeing their first release on CD and as lossless digital (currently, through the Tidal streaming service, and only a small number so far at HDTracks). From there, we will begin covering the other albums. If you have comments on these albums, by all means feel free to wait until we post the reviews, as these discussions are being linked directly to the discography pages when they are ready to go.
