I forgot to follow up this release with a note--according to Allan Holdsworth, this album was never intended for release, as the recordings were made at a rehearsal session. But CTI released them anyway. He had objected to the album's release and disowned it throughout the rest of his career.

I had this album for a time I purchased it in the cutout bins in 1986 now I know why the sound quality wasn't quite what I expected in my opinion it didn't sound right not the way CTI albums usually sounded to me. Thanks for the info
