Armageddon is a four-piece musical group whose diverse backgrounds provide a fitting prelude to the innovative music contained on this debut album for A&M Records. Armageddon is Keith Relf, singer and composer with the original British blues group The Yardbirds, and founder, producer and composer of and with the original Renaissance. Also Martin Pugh, the lead guitar on The Rod Stewart Album and with England's Steamhammer; Bobby Caldwell, formerly with Johnny Winter and Captain Beyond; and Louis Cennamo, origianlly with Renaissance and Steamhammer. Armageddon has joined its skills and imaginations to generate a music that is at once highly sophisticated, tangibly moody and breathlessly intense. They have sought to create a style unlike any other in rock, and one listening will demonstrate how dramatically they've succeeded.

Plans for a second album fell through after Relf died from electrocution while playing his guitar.
