The title track was used on the CBS "Daytona 500" back in February of 1982 near the beginning of the show & when Bobby Allison won the trophy!! Matt Clark Sanford, MI

I remember that very well...they used it for a couple of seasons. CBS Sports Spectacular!

Question for anyone who may know:

I'm listening to my copy of the Specially Edited Radio Selections from CHILDREN OF SANCHEZ. This was an LP issued to radio stations consolidating the 2LP soundtrack down to just one 32 minute LP. My playback got to "Bellavia", the tune of which I'm familiar, but this version seems different from the one I know. The familiar "Bellavia" is on both the CLASSICS VOL. 6 (long version) and on a GOLD SERIES(single version).

Did the SANCHEZ version of "Bellavia" precede the familiar single, or was it included in the soundtrack and re-performed for that album?
