I saw this Japanese compilation ages ago, certainly decades ago, on eBay, and it was always one of the more ridiculously expensive compilations out there. I even recall finding the track list and making a version on cassette for car trips. Well I finally obtained one for a much more reasonable price - even with shipping from Japan, so I added it to my collection. This was certainly not something I desperately needed as I have all of these tracks elsewhere, but given the other Bacharach compilations I own, I felt like this one belonged here too.
As you can see it's from 1995, and was apparently made to promote the release in Japan of Bacharach's albums REACH OUT, MAKE IT EASY ON YOURSELF, CLOSE TO YOU, and the A&M SONGS OF BURT BACHARACH compilation. Just another multi-A&M-artist compilation with Bacharach tunes.
