Barry White was in a hospital recently, cancelling a European tour. He will need to have a kidney transplant, but little other info is available right now.

I think I can fill in a few more details, from what I've heard and read online. Mr. White is currently undergoing kidney dialysis and needs a transplant, this from years of chronic high blood pressure. His publicists and spokespeople won't say where exactly he's being treated, but apparently it's somewhere of his home state of California.
