Wow, I have no recollection of this one at all. I was kind of a marginal Barry White fan, but had pretty much lost interest by the time he made it onto A&M. I liked his early hit "Honey Please, Can't Ya See."
 
Barry White's career reboot came about from the Quincy Jones record Back On The Block, as he was featured on the album's closing track, "The Secret Garden," in his trademark style. He signed to A&M in 1987 with a little success, but it was this album (released in 1989) that became the first of the comeback phase of his career, which would peak with The Icon Is Love a few years later.
