During 1969-70 the horn rock era was prominent, and A&M artists inspired by Chicago, BST and The Ides of March were present in the 4200 series at that time. Chuck Trois' National Bank and Stuffin' were domestic one-and-done releases. On the basis of its originality and creativity, HEALING OF THE LUNATIC OWL should have come out in the states. Instead it was confined to the U.K. I never heard the original 1970 LP but found an A&M CD reissue. It's posted on Youtube and seems worthy to share. Playing a writing their own material, they were more than a lounge act. Hope you'll enjoy.

The A&M Brainchild (UK) is not to be confused with the Ohio based band Brainchild. Singer Joe Pizzulo (of Sergio Mendes' 80s albums) was a member of that domestic super group earlier.
