This was one of those label samplers that A&M put out to help sell other albums. Somehow this one never got an Album Of The Week, so I thought I'd put one in here.

Only ever available as an LP, it featured four tracks from Burt's own albums, and one each from The Sandpipers, The Baja Marimba Band, Brasil '66, The Tijuana Brass, Carpenters, and Wes Montgomery.

All of the LPs seemed to be pressed by Monarch.

I found this album in a thrift store and decided to buy it. It was in very good condition and has the inner sleeve IH7. I like the selections it has but since most of the songs are under three minutes each, a couple more could have been added.

They were priced very low, from $1.99-$2.99 at most stores. A picked up a couple of copies back in that 80’s at Musicland. Nice collection.

I passed on this one at the time, since I owned everything except the Sandpipers and BMB.
I bought a $1 used copy many years ago (in the 1990s) but yeah...I already had most of the songs elsewhere so I doubt I've even spun it more than once, as I'm more likely to pull out a proper Bacharach album instead. It was an interesting curiosity though.
