Bury me in Laphina

Just came across the lyrics to "Laphina" - Put them through Google translate and here's what I got.
Like "Viola" and "Upa, Neguinho", it's another case of Sergio aligning himself with the political and artistic Tropicália movement.

When I die, bury me in Lapinha
When I die, bury me in Lapinha
Pants, breeches, jacket, pad
Pants, breeches, jacket, pad

When I die, bury me in Lapinha
When I die, bury me in Lapinha
Pants, breeches, jacket, pad
Pants, breeches, jacket, pad

Go, my sorry, will tell
All the sadness of living
Oh, the truth always hurts
And sometimes it brings
One more evil
Oh, it just made me tear
See so many people surrender
But I didn't conform
Going against the law
I know I didn't regret it -
I have a request only
Last, perhaps, before leaving

When I die, bury me in Lapinha
When I die, bury me in Lapinha
Pants, breeches, jacket, pad
Pants, breeches, jacket, pad

Goodbye Bahia, Zum-Zum-Zum, Gold Cord
I'm leaving because they killed my Beetle
Goodbye Bahia, Zum-Zum-Zum, Gold Cord
I'm leaving because they killed my Beetle

When I die, bury me in Lapinha
When I die, bury me in Lapinha
Pants, breeches, jacket, pad
Pants, breeches, jacket, pad

When I die, bury me in Lapinha
When I die, bury me in Lapinha
When I die, bury me in Lapinha
When I die, bury me in Lapinha. . .

Original lyrics:

Quando eu morrer, me enterre na Lapinha
Quando eu morrer, me enterre na Lapinha
Calça, culote, paletó, almofadinha
Calça, culote, paletó, almofadinha

Quando eu morrer, me enterre na Lapinha
Quando eu morrer, me enterre na Lapinha
Calça, culote, paletó, almofadinha
Calça, culote, paletó, almofadinha

Vai, meu lamento, vai contar
Toda tristeza de viver
Ai, a verdade sempre doi
E, às vezes, traz Um mal a mais
Ai, só me fez dilacerar
Ver tanta gente se entregar
Mas não me conformei
Indo contra lei Sei que não me arrependi -
Tenho um pedido só
Último, talvez, antes de partir

Quando eu morrer, me enterre na Lapinha
Quando eu morrer, me enterre na Lapinha
Calça, culote, paletó, almofadinha
Calça, culote, paletó, almofadinha

Adeus Bahia, zum-zum-zum, Cordão de Ouro
Eu vou partir porque mataram meu
Besouro Adeus Bahia, zum-zum-zum, Cordão de Ouro
Eu vou partir porque mataram meu

Besouro Quando eu morrer, me enterre na Lapinha
Quando eu morrer, me enterre na Lapinha
Calça, culote, paletó, almofadinha
Calça, culote, paletó, almofadinha
Quando eu morrer, me enterre na Lapinha
Quando eu morrer, me enterre na Lapinha
Quando eu morrer, me enterre na Lapinha
Quando eu morrer, me enterre na Lapinha . . .

It'd be nice to have somebody who actually speaks Portuguese go through those lyrics and filter out the inevitable mistakes in the Google translation. Like, what the heck is "Pants, breeches, jacket, pad" supposed to mean? Translating is one of those things that computers can't do perfectly (yet).

It's regarding the outfit males are usually put on for the funeral (at least in Brazil). Calça culote (i think there's no comma separating these words) as it describes that kind of straight pants, part of a suit; paletó is the suit jacket. Almofadinha would be the cushion the body lays on, that little pillow in the coffin.
