I was listening to this one last night in the car (I always do my mist focused listening there) and I didn't realize how "muddy" this one sounds. I'm listening to the Remastered Classics version as it appeared on the Japanese mini-album box set. I have the LP but I haven't put it on yet to hear if there's a big difference. We were talking about "You" sounding that way in the other thread but this one's worse. It should leap out of the speakers and it just doesn't. It's not the whole album because "All You Get...", "Man Smart", and "Calling Occupants..." sound good. Is the LP better in this respect? Maybe the original CD?

I just compared the four versions of "B'wana..." that I have and the Remastered Classics has a bit of a reduction in the highs, accounting for a slightly muddier sound. The A&M CD seems a little brighter (as does the rarer Japanese Single Box and SWEET MEMORY).
