Carpenters Album

I was browsing through the Carpenters Catalog at the Barnes and Noble website and I noticed that the cover on the Carpenters(tan one) had been changed. It looks like they took the photograph of Karen and Richard on the inside and put it on the outside. Has A&M records changed this or this just a mistake on the website?

I believe that the 'tan' album was released in other countries (UK, Germany?) with that pictured cover:

It survives to this day in those countries. Note the tiny 'Karussell' logo in the bottom right corner. I've seen LP copies of this from the UK in used bins, though I never picked it up. I bought the Karussell CD in hopes of finding the original mix of "Superstar" long before the Remastered Classics Series.
