Carpenter's Logo Font?

That Logo is the most perfect type of its kind I've ever seen. Very easy to recognize especially back in the record store days when flipping through the product, it would almost jump up and tap you on the eyeball and say, look at me.

I think the reason it stands out is the C and S at each end, with all the space inside those two letters. It works best if the logo is dark on a white background because the white spaces inside the dark lettering make it even more eye-catching.
