Recently I've been watching the videos put up on YouTube by Techmoan, and in them he's highlighted some interesting, obscure audio formats, such as the 70's-era Hipac ()
and it got me wondering if the Carpenters have seen any releases on other formats, besides the more common ones like LP, CD, Analog Compact Cassette, 8-track, Laserdisc, VHS, DVD-Video and reel-to-reel. Did Polygram ever do a Carpenters release, such as maybe the Interpretations album on the Philips DCC (Digital Compact Cassette) format (1992-1996), considering that Philips was Polygram's parent in 1994?
I can think of:
SACD: The Singles 1969-1981, The Singles 1969-1973
HDCD: As Time Goes By, The Remastered Classics
