So, it's a busy season for everyone beginning this Thanksgiving week. I won't be on the boards much. But I wanted everyone to know that my long researched and written Fresh Look at Christmas Portrait will be published on my blog a week from tomorrow, December 1. As with all the previous album reviews in chronological order, I talk about growing up in SoCal during the days of Karen and Richard's most popular years and their impact on my life. This one gets even more personal in a different way than before. You'll have to read it to understand it. The even bigger nerd in me is let out of the bag.

On the note of Thanksgiving, know how thankful I am for each of you on these boards! Our lively discussions about the duo are some of the most informative and fun amounts of time I spend on the internet. God bless you all for being a part of it!

Mark, I enjoyed reading this fresh look, thank you for writing that. That’s a new photo to me of Karen with her parents, never seen it before and it’s lovely. I’m guessing from her hair this was 1978. She looks so different (maybe it’s the straight hair) but so pretty. Awesome find.

Thank you, Harry, I fixed the links I could.

Thank you everyone else for the kind comments and for not ragging on me for my nerdiness!
