Lets get NASA and the Carpenters to the Moon ! 🌙

To mark the 50th anniversary of the moon landings, NASA are requesting songs for the playlist of the next Moon landings in 2024. This is a 3 day journey each way, so NASA are asking for us to recommend songs to make the Astronauts journey a little bit easier.

Who deserves to have their music reach the stars (literally) more than the Carpenters? Simply follow the link below and type in the song title and artist name. Perhaps "Calling Occupants Of Interplanetary Craft" would be appropriate?!?!

Lets get behind this, share the news and together let's get our duo into space !

Happily, the duo have already been on NASA's playlist:
---
That same crew heard the Doors "Light My Fire" when it was time to burn engines to leave lunar orbit, and also heard
The Carpenters "We've Only Just Begun." That was played to show that the last lunar mission would not be the end of lunar exploration.
---
The Carpenters were also featured during Skylab 4, with "Top of the World" joining an eclectic playlist which included Elvis Presley's
"Burning Love," a Rachmaninoff piano concerto and Isaac Hayes' theme from "Shaft."
