Hi all,
Some of you may have already heard it before, but I was thrilled to find this early and very interesting interview with Karen & Richard. They're both quite outspoken here (Richard in particular, which I enjoyed listening to).
Carpenters were performing at the Mill Run Playhouse in Chicago November 2-8, so I guess they did this interview during that week. This was also around the time that their spot on the Ed Sullivan Show aired where they performed at the Walter Reed Medical Center (taped a few weeks earlier, just 1 day before Richard's birthday).
