Title of the post says it all...did A&M ever release a stereo 45 version of Casino Royale? Thanx.

Yeah, I suggest that whoever did that mono mp3 simply folded down the stereo version. Since Herb's trumpet is essentially the only thing in the center of the mix, when folded down to mono, his trumpet would be boosted by 3 db higher in the mix. That's the reason why they did dedicated mono mixes, because centered information got boosted when folded down.Herb’s trumpet parts are much more prominent in this mix, compared to both the mono 45 and mono LP versions I find on youtube Any ideas?
Though I have no real proof, I would say that a stereo 45 of "Casino Royale" likely exists as a white label promo. It wouldn't have been released to the public, but rather to FM radio stations. I know - and have proof - that "Wade In The Water" exists as a promo 45 in stereo.
That was single #840. "Casino Royale" was single #850. So A&M had begun issuing stereo 45s to FM radio by 840. And they continued for the next couple of years - I also have one for #969-S, Larry Marks' "L.A. Break Down".
So by mere interpolation, I'd say that "Casino Royale" should exist as a stereo promo somewhere out there.
Additional factoids:
"Wade In The Water" has a different stereo mix than the album version. Trombones are heard on the left channel of the promo single and centered on the album version.
"L.A. Breakdown" has CSG processing applied to it.
I first became aware of that song when I heard a version by Jack Jones on the radio. That one's an incredible arrangement by Patrick Williams and I'm fortunate to have had the original LP all these years. That Larry Marks tune is great! First time I've ever heard it.

It was our Mr. Bill that tipped me off to the A&M connection with Larry Marks. So I sought out the 45 and later found the stereo version without hunting to hard. It uses that crappy CSG processing, but I now know how to undo it.
It also appeared on the promo-only A&M BOOTLEG ALBUM.
