This album is much better than Baker's You Can't Go Home Again, mainly because it's a straight-ahead blowing effort. The title track and "I'm Getting Sentimental Over You" are clear highlights for me, but the first five tracks are all solid. The only oddity is "El Morro", which may be an alternate take from the version that appeared on You Can't... although this version doesn't fare much better, especially with a few minutes added on. The recording dates are the same for this album and the earlier album. But this CD is definitely worth picking up!

There was a reissue of both albums on Verve a few years back, but that's long out of print.
