Very educational as well as interesting as this is what the CSG was originally intended for but as we all know it didn't last long for obvious reasons the results simply stunk putting it mildly

Hilarious explanation for what essentially was a 90 degree phase shift between the two channels...

That 90 degree phase shift ruined phase coherence and mono compatibility. And still didn't make those records track any better or make them mono compatible on older equipment which could not be adapted to Stereo disc playback basic requirements. The term "Compatible Stereo" was also false advertising in this industry.
