Can anyone explain the cover of Artie Butler's "Have You Met Miss Jones?" I must admit that at first sight of the cover, I was a bit frightened. Then again, I was frightened by some of the vocals on "When It Was Done." Speaking of that album, what are some of your favorite tracks on that album? I happen to like Ole, Ole, Ola very much. Anyone have any interesting tidbits on Wanderley's supposed contractual problems at A&M that BJ Major's website doesn't have? I'd be interested to hear...

thanks for answering all the questions, gold star for you.

Well, Pete Turner, the photographer, told me that the photo is of a reveler in Rio's Carnival, taken in the mid '60s. I believe he said it was a man.

The goal of the A&M CTI covers was to include a shot that was different, even opposite, of the name of the album. It's why "Wave" didn't have a photo of the ocean.

He mentioned the Artie Butler cover as one he liked...as opposed to the "We and the Sea" and "Glory of Love" covers, which he didn't.
