difference between US & others in "Perform"

If you got US version and other version of "Carpenters Perform Carpenter", would you tell me if there is difference between them, please?

I was unkind to a person who joined recently.
We talked about songlist of "Perform Carpenter" on the topic "Carpenters Perform Carpenter CD-> July29"(page 3).

I'd like to know the difference on the following songs.

1.Top Of The World (Karaoke Version) /US (SINGLE VERSION)
2.Maybe It's You (Newly Mastered Version)
14.At The End Of A Song (Newly Mastered Version)
18.Merry Christmas Darling (Single Version)

Does Karaoke mean "Original Master Karaoke" version, Best Of Best mix from "Best Of Best + Original Master Karaoke"or anything else?
Does Single Version mean original single or '78 single?

UK version, German version and Japanese version look like the same version according to songlists. I have not ordered Japanese version. If it has the differnce from US version, I think I should buy it.
