I'm far more interested in the documentary than the new album with "versions of the Brazilian maestro’s classics featuring intergenerational guests, with some tracks co-produced by will.i.am." Sorry if I sound like an old grump, but are there any performers of the "new generation" who would be a good fit with Sergio?
Sounds like it will be a good film, I'm looking forward to it!
My personal wish would be that there's an extended segment that goes into the making of the Primal Roots album, but I'd bet just about anything it will be mentioned briefly if at all, since it wasn't a hit. I hope it looks into the various incarnations of Brasil '66, how the group's styles evolved and so on.
This guy's next project should be a Herb Alpert film...his life story would be just as interesting but in different ways.
