Happy 40th Anniversary "Christmas Portrait".

^^I did notice that Christmas Portrait (SE) is #23 on Billboard's Album Holiday Chart today !
They show a 203 week chart run, it gained ten spots in this latest week and is still climbing !
Interestingly enough, PBS was showing their Carpenters' Show along with the
Christmas DVD part. I was visiting friends at the time. Anyway, when Karen started
singing those Christmas songs, everyone sat mesmerized at the TV screen.
That voice, and those Christmas songs, kept these folks spellbound. Awesome.
Christmas Portrait (1978) remains my favorite all-time Christmas album.
Karen's lead vocals on LP An Old-Fashioned Christmas remain some of my all-time favorites.
