I finally finished a CTi Sampler that I had wanted to do for a while. Like the Horizon Sampler that I did (see http://www.amcorner.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=9483 for that one) I chose one song from each album that I considered the best. This was a 2 CD set. However, unlike the Horizon discs there wasn't quite enough CTi releases to completely fill the second disc, so I put some songs from other albums in the 3000 series to fill the space. For the most part I avoided tunes that were mired in strings. Unfortunately, I had a couple of LPs (3022 and 3025) that were so scratchy that I couldn't clean up more than I wanted because it would have interfered with the music itself. But that aside, I'm pretty happy with what I put together.
So here's what I ended up with:
