I was just wondering if anyone knows why "I Believe You" was released in 1978 when it appears on their 1981 album Made In America? Was the single prematurely released in 1978? I just found this weird when I was reviewing the chronology of their singles chart history.
It was recorded for a album they were doing by time. Songs like Thank You For The Music, Slow Dance, Honolulu City Lights, Look To Your Dreams and Where Do I Go From Here, also were recorded by this project.
But then they stoped that production for making the Christmas Album. That turns out to be A GREAT CHANGE, actually!!!
As for the single, though I realy like I Believe You, I think they should had released WHERE DO I GO FROM YOU!!! Much more powerfull song, with much more genre and age apeal!!! I beat it should had charted higher as well!!!
