I’m the same. I first became familiar with the song when I was learning the keyboard and had to play it. At the time, I thought it was odd and had no idea what it was about. But after hearing the Carpenters’ version and seeing Karen have so much fun performing it live, it’s really grown on me. It isn’t my favourite track by any means, but it’s not one I skip either.
