"IS" more archive digging on the way?

I know it's been talked about before, but....
I was watching HERB ALPERT...IS the other day and was concentrating on the live TJB sequence, I'm guessing it was from 1966 or 1967. It's a rather long sequence, and there's dialog over most of it. After all this time of waiting, I started to think; "this would do!" With a bit of "cleaning up" this would suffice. All the instruments seem well recorded and balanced. Is this something the Alpert team has securely wrapped down tight?

I agree with you--a bit of cleaning up will suffice. This is better than seeing nothing at all. Consider all the old black and white music videos on YouTube--far from state-of-the-art--but they are historical and a pleasure to watch.
