It's Going To Take Some Time-song

It's funny, but I used to hate this song. It was on the first CARPENTERS album I listened to, THE SINGLES 1969-1973. I loved almost every other song on that collection but I hated this song. I think I was mad that it didn't even make the TOP 10! But nowadays, I really like this song. It seems to be a very mature song for them at that time. I also like the piccallo or flute playing in the background. Her vocals sound lush and gorgeous. I also love her unique phrasing. I am glad that Carole King complimented Karen and Richard on their working of this song. Is their anyway to find out how many copies this song sold?

I've always enjoyed listening to this song. Her delivery was so simple yet very muture at the time. I consider the song another hidden treasures; however, "one more time" remains my favorite. Philippino President Aroyo had also recently given an interview that her favorite song is "one more time" by The Carpenters. Wow!!
