Aw heck, it's only money! Get a Clearaudio Master Innovation and live a little. 😁 You don't need those cars or that spare kidney anyways. But I assure you, it does sound wonderful. (I heard it with a DS Audio optical cartridge.)That may end up being the route I go, too---though it means having to get the turntable back in working order.

But back to reality. I hope UMe releases this album and California Soul digitally one of these days. CDs are pretty much a thing of the past for lesser-known titles, and I wouldn't expect anything in a low volume seller to go through the process of manufacturing and distribution. But what wouldn't surprise me is the fanatical Japanese market to release them on CD at some point. They seem to cater to specialists like us. (Look back many years ago when we kept Dusty Groove in business, buying all those Brasil '66 releases.)
Indeed! I guess I can dream a little, and I certainly wouldn't turn one down if offered to me for free. The baby brother Innovation Compact Wood (pictured here) with tonearm is around $12K (new), a bit less in the non-"wood" version. (And there are more expensive arms--I'd prefer a 10" or longer arm over the 9" pictured here.)Nice turntable!
I do regret not buying all of the AM+ reissues back in the early 80s--I found a used Israel a few years ago, so I'm glad I got ahold of one.Unfortunately, got rid of my copies of "Betwixt and Between" and "Isreal" many years ago , so no chance for needledrops (+ no turntable as well).
Mine will jump a little once I rip the remaining CDs I haven't gotten to yet. They were really low priority since I rarely listened to them. But I've found that having music on a server, it is way easier to queue up a random track I may want to listen to that I haven't heard in years, or just randomly search through the music and play something that catches my eye. I also have a lot of LPs and especially 12" singles I want to digitize, partly as a backup in case they are lost/damaged, but also to be able to play them on other systems in the house. To save a ton of work, though, I'm waiting to get one of those SweetVinyl SugarCube units that will clean up all the noise. (I've yet to hear computer software that removes random pops and clicks without causing audible side effects, aside from hand-editing them out.)Wow Rudy you have almost as many tracks as I have on my laptop and tablet each I currently have 57.031 tracks that represents my whole music library from CDs Vinyl needle drops tapes and downloads etc but I know you will surpass me eventually because you have some you haven't got to yet
Count me in as well. Instant purchase. Without question, the final LP to CD issue I have been longing for.I totally Agree that would be an Ultimate Collection for Sure.
