One of the Coltrane classics - and the only LP he recorded for Blue Note. Not only is Coltrane on top of his game, but so is Lee Morgan and Curtis Fuller, whose solo on the title track is outstanding. The only ballad on this set is "I'm Old Fashioned". The rest of the tunes are uptempo bop numbers. My favorite track, and favorite Trane solo, is on "Lazy Bird", which is a hip composition as well. Solid rhythm section keeps this thing grooving. A must have for any jazz fan.
