Well within this past year we have lost Norman Gimbel, Francis Lai and now Legrand who were incredibly gifted songwriters of sophisticated popular music especially from the film genre. We all remember the Brasil 66 rendition of "Watch What Happens" which was co written with Norman Gimbel. Legrand also worked with the esteemed lyricists Alan and Marilyn Bergman.
