You know how you can look at something for years (decades) and then suddenly the lightbulb goes off? In my film journalism life, I got contacted years ago by Rocky Lang, son of Jennings Lang, to provide information for Rocky's fantastic book Letters from Hollywood, and it turned out he had gone to school with one of my in-laws in LA (the same family who went to a party where The Carnival played!). I later found out Rocky's brother was the late, great session pianist Mike Lang, and I just put two and two together that he's obviously the "Michael Lang" who gets special thanks on Stillness for Righteous Life. Paula Stone insisted that Sergio played keys on that, but Claudio Slon told me it was hired guns, and I have to say the piano playing doesn't really sound like Sergio to me.
