I'll bet that after one playing, that "needle" would render the album pretty useless!

Hate to see any good record ruined. Especially what appears to be a white-label promo, which were made in limited supply.

I'm just hoping that this was just a "pose" for the purposes of such photograph, and that the LP was never actually played on that phonograph machine. (Besides, that machine had one speed only -- 78. If it were played, that record would have likely sounded like the Chipmunks.)

It would probably trim the 12" down to a 7" single! :wink: No doubt it's a posed photograph, although I wonder why they didn't use some authentic 12" Victrola or RCA Victor shellac.

Have you been buying the sets, or borrowing? I'm watching half.com on these sets--I've seen the first set listed for as low as $58.88 recently.
