Vincent Bell, known for his watery guitar sound has died at 84 years old. He did the guitar on Ferrante & Teicher's "Midnight Cowboy", the remake of Bob Dylan "Lay Lady Lay" (with the piano duo) & his own "Airport Love Theme" in 1970. Vinnie Bell - Wikipedia
 
Comedian Rip Taylor has died at 84 years old. First time that I saw Rip on TV was on Saturday morning in September of 1974 when he played the genie on Sid & Marty Krofft's "Sigmund & The Sea Monsters" on NBC during the second season!! Rip Taylor - Wikipedia
 
Gerry McGee, guitarist with Delaney & Bonnie, the Ventures and solo artist (with one single on A&M- "Moonlight Surfin'" & "Cajun Guitar" # 771), passed away today. Born 11-17-37 (age 81). He suffered a heart attack while on a solo tour in Japan. His prolific sessions credits include the Monkees, Boyce & Hart and Henry Gross. The latter is a close associate who shared the news with friends on Facebook.

TV producer Al Burton ("Charles In Charge", "The Jeffersons", "Diff'erent Strokes" & "One Day At A Time") has died at 91 years old.
